    So, are you happier?

I've lost about 15 pounds since startupweekend in carrboro (chapel-hill whatever). Long overdue and I did it by springing for a personal trainer for 6 weeks. Completely kicked my butt.

My last session will be on New Years' Eve morning. It's been a great way to end the year (SW included). For 2008 I'll try to keep up the intensity and borrow some of your ideas too.

@Fred really good question. Yes I am, just more stress free.

Awesome to hear about the PT. I have tried them before, but my diet was the biggest issue for me.

Andrew - I really enjoyed this post. I too am on the path to a healthier, thinner life - so your post have given me some good tips. Do you have an acupuncturist you recommend?

I definitely agree with the part about being content with the weight you're already at. So many people get discouraged too quickly, and aren't happy with themselves to begin with. This leads to frustration, and slowed overall progress. Once you're secure with the way things are, it's easy to get the lead out, so to speak.
