I'll be looking forward to an update on how creativity & production levels are influenced w/ the new surroundings. I imagine it even smells like a wood cabin? Love it.

Re: My Mining Cabin

So sick!

Re: My Mining Cabin

Love these photos... This is Shelli Johnson from out on the frontier, Lander, Wyoming. Our main website, YellowstnoePark.com, had its offices in Lander designed with lots of recycled snow fence and we used old windows from old houses in between the cubibles and offices and our front door is a very old door from an old house in Lander. Very rustic and awesome. Then, we used steel joiners in between the sheets of sheetrock so as to emphasize where they joined rather than hide them... all sections were painted in deep earthy tones. It's very rustic and we love its look and feel. Trey from Whimpy Wolf Builders in Lander was a big part of bringing our look and feel to fruition. We did it on a shoestring and yet get endless compliments about the uniqueness and resulting authentic, rustic feel. (in addition due to my fetish for old trunks, we have old traveler trunks serving as storage coffee tables, etc., and an Indian quilt hanging on the wall.) Just some ideas to push along. This article and the awesome photos made me want to share this. : >

Re: My Mining Cabin

Hope your file doesn't get corrupted :-)

(sorry...couldn't resist)

Re: My Mining Cabin

This just cracks me up.
